Company administration in the US
Company Registration and Annual Filing
When you have a legal entity in the USA, there is – as in Denmark – different compliance, both legal and tax-related. Different rules apply to different companies in different states.
Some of the compliance includes reporting to local, state, and federal governments. Per taxes, typically an annual tax filing must be made, and sales and payroll taxes must be continually evaluated and paid. State and local taxes must also be considered.
Tax
American companies must also report to the states in which they are registered. Mostly a simple filing, the company reports their status and pays their annual registration fees. These fees vary depending on the states.
