Who is behind Rosenfalck & Thorup?

Rosenfalck & Thorup is a cooperation between Rosenfalck Advokatanpartsselskab (CVR no. 44 27 77 78) and Thomas Thorup Law Adv.ApS (CVR no. 34608792), both registered at Landemærket 3, 3. tv., 1119 Copenhagen K, Denmark. This structure lets clients instruct a single firm for matters that cross Danish, American, and English law, rather than coordinating separate advisers in each jurisdiction.

Who regulates Rosenfalck & Thorup's lawyers?

Regulation depends on where each lawyer is admitted. Danish lawyers are appointed by the Danish Ministry of Justice and are members of the Danish Bar and Law Society (Advokatsamfundet), and they practise in accordance with the Code of Conduct for Lawyers (published at advokatsamfundet.dk) and the rules on lawyers set out in the Danish Administration of Justice Act. US attorneys are members of the State Bar Associations of California and the District of Columbia and are subject to those states' Codes of Attorney Conduct. Complaints are handled through the relevant jurisdiction's official body. In Denmark, complaints go to the Danish Bar Council (Advokatnævnet). In the United States, complaints can be raised with the State Bar of California or the District of Columbia Bar, depending on the attorney involved. In England, fee complaints go to the Legal Ombudsman, and conduct complaints go to the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
